Job Description
At HDR, we are seeking a Senior Estimator to work independently or as part of a team to develop conceptual, budgetary, and production-based construction cost estimates for heavy civil type projects, including highways, bridges, retaining walls, and transit. The individual will have extensive knowledge of construction means and methods, production rates, labor, equipment, and material requirements of the work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Science Engineering or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 10 years' related experience
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office software
- Advanced understanding of construction estimating concepts, construction scheduling and elements associated with Risk
- Intermediate Management fundamentals
- Good verbal and written communication skills
