Senior Health Planner

HDR is seeking a Senior Healthcare Planner to join their growing team and help shape the future of healthcare environments that improve health outcomes for communities.

Requirements

• Lead and contribute to the clinical planning of healthcare facilities across projects of varying scales in Western Canada
• Engage with clinical stakeholders, health authorities, and project teams to develop functional programs and evidence-based planning solutions
• Analyze operational models and patient flows to inform space planning and support efficient, safe, and patient-centered care environments
• Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and project managers throughout all project phases, from early planning through design and delivery
• Navigate local health authority guidelines, regulatory requirements, and best practices in healthcare delivery in British Columbia
• Support strategic and master planning efforts, including feasibility studies and scenario testing for new or renovated health facilities
• Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, clearly communicating planning concepts and facilitating user engagement sessions
