Job Description
HDR is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer to join our Transportation Business Group. The successful candidate will lead technical roles in urban roadway design projects, perform quality assurance checks, and assume project management duties. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in highway design, a PE in West Virginia, and proficiency in CAD design software. Requirements
- Serve in the lead technical role in the detailed development of urban roadway design projects
- Perform quality assurance checks on major transportation projects on interstate and state highway systems
- Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization that resolves problems of greater scope and complexity
- Assume some project management duties and interact with clients as needed
- Supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and technicians as needed
