Senior ICT/Security Designer

As a Senior ICT/Security Designer, you'll help design critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive.

Requirements

• Evaluate, select and apply state-of-the-art ICT/Security systems, techniques, procedures, design, and modifications
• Design and specify ICT systems, including OSP and ISP fiber optic and copper backbones, horizontal cabling, bonding, cabling pathways, and telecom room design
• Design and specify security systems, including Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Video Surveillance
• Present designs in client-facing settings, representing HDR in a positive and professional manner
• Assume lead designer role in a fast-paced design environment, taking responsibility for drawings and specifications for entire design discipline
• Independently perform ICT/Security engineering assignments with broad general instruction from Project Manager as to the results expected
• Regularly perform cross-discipline coordination to ensure fully coordinated scope
• Mentor junior designers as needed to cross-train and grow the ICT/Security team
• Conduct QA/QC of the work of other ICT/Security designers
• Perform other duties as needed
