Job Description
HDR seeks a Senior Laboratory Planner to coordinate laboratory planning and design on projects, analyze complex program information, and present planning and programming information to clients and design teams.
Requirements
- Create content and present HDR expertise and capabilities to prospective clients
- Lead lab planning efforts on projects
- Analyze program information and develop an overall laboratory concept
- Responsible for the design of laboratory space with complex features
- Develop and coordinate room design criteria for projects and distribute to the project team
- Develop laboratory equipment list and casework layouts for projects
- Reviews applicable code data
- Provides leadership within the Education and Science Planning Group
- Presents technical information to conferences and seminars or gets published at least every other year
