Senior Mechanical Engineer - Building Engineering

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services Group. The successful candidate will lead the work of the mechanical design team, write and edit mechanical specifications, and review mechanical documents for conflict with other disciplines.

Requirements

• Lead the work of the mechanical design team throughout all project phases
• Write and edit mechanical specifications to fit project requirements
• Review mechanical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines
• Ability to perform psychrometric calculations for analyzing and selecting HVAC systems and equipment
• Develop sections and elevations for complex ductwork and piping areas
• Coordinate HVAC system control requirements and intended modes of operation with controls engineers
• Responsible to coordinate workload, complete project assignments and deliverables on schedule
• Conduct virtual / on-site work sessions for projects in conjunction with other disciplines
• Work with the Project Manager, Regional Controller and Regional Director for project reviews with corporate management
• Take ownership of assignments and work both independently and as part of a large project team
