Senior Mechanical Engineer

HDR is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to ensure building services systems are commissioned properly and meet client requirements. The role involves validating commissioning processes, inspecting existing systems, and collaborating with other team members to improve systems and procedures.

Requirements

• BEng Mechanical Engineering with Building Services
• Considerable experience in project management
• Member of CIBSE, ASHRAE or equivalent professional qualifications
• At least 5 years of experience in a commissioning engineer role in a building orientated company
• IT Literate – MS Office package
• Willing to travel to site-based locations
• Good computer skills and effective typing skills
• Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of construction practices, systems engineering, operations fundamentals, contracting, and general business operations
