Job Description
HDR is a company that values inclusivity and employee ownership, and is seeking a Senior Noise Specialist to join its Transportation Business Group. As a leader in the field of acoustics, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the systems that move people and goods safely, efficiently, and sustainably.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Math, Physics, or closely related field
- 10 or more years of experience in acoustical analysis
- Leadership skills and ability to manage in a team environment
- Familiarity of local clients and markets
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with GIS and GPS
- Proficiency with state-of-the-art software used to process and analyze noise and vibration measurement data
- Familiar with relevant ISO and related acoustical standards
- Familiar with current guidance documents for acoustical analyses (FHWA, FTA, FRA, UFC, etc)
