Job Description
HDR is seeking a Senior Site Civil Engineer to join their team. As an employee-owner, you will be valued and respected, and empowered to bring your authentic self to work every day. You will be responsible for designing and planning production for general civil projects, performing quantity calculations, preparing specifications and contract documents, and conducting permitting.
Requirements
- Design and plan production for general civil on a wide variety of projects
- Perform quantity calculations
- Prepare specifications and contract documents
- Conduct permitting
- Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization
- Plan and develop projects or design activities with significant impact on major company programs
- Plan, organize and supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and technicians
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, Bluebeam Revu, and other civil engineering software
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Project management experience
- Project engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 10 years design experience managing various civil/site design projects
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
