HDR is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team. As a technical expert, the successful candidate will be responsible for serving as a lead on projects, planning and developing projects, and supervising a team of professionals and technicians. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 10 years structural engineering experience
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board
- Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar analytical software
- Experience in design calculations and layouts
- Ability to design and detail in steel, concrete, masonry and wood
- Understanding of gravity analysis and lateral analysis
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
