Job Description
As a Senior Substation Engineer at HDR, you will work on a variety of exciting projects, preparing engineering designs on substation projects and contributing to reliable, resilient, and sustainable power systems. You will be part of a rapidly growing team and will have the flexibility to seek and acquire knowledge and experience in both the Protection and Control and Physical aspects of high-voltage substation design.
Requirements
- Responsible for knowledge and execution of the technical aspects and deliverables of projects assigned
- Develop a partnership with the PM and provide technical guidance to project team members
- Support the technical aspects of scope, schedule, and budget
- Coordinate and perform quality checks and reviews for all project deliverables
- Work independently and direct, mentor, and train Electrical Engineers, Graduate Engineers, and Drafters/Designers
- Lead multiple projects concurrently, utilizing teams in different locations
