Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll provide project and task management, conduct complex hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, and lead production of design calculations and technical reports. You'll also serve as a project manager on larger projects and prepare proposal, scopes of work, and contract cost estimates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- A minimum of 10 years Water Resources experience
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (PE or P.Eng)
- Experience in water resources planning, hydrology/hydraulics, and drainage/flood control design
- Familiarity with DOT drainage design criteria
- Experience in FEMA studies
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
- HEC-1, HEC-RAS, GEO-RAS, Storm CAD, Haested Methods
