Substation Engineering Manager/Team Lead

As a Substation Engineering Manager/Team Lead, you'll lead, guide, and advise clients, projects, and teams, and be responsible for hiring, developing, and direct supervision of a team of junior and/or mid-level engineers, technicians, and/or project support staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) license
• Technical design experience with high voltage electrical switchyard and substation projects of varying complexity
• Substation design experience with voltages of 230kV and above
• Conceptual knowledge of physical, electrical, civil, and structural design components
• Previous consulting firm experience desired
• Previous staff supervision experience preferred
• Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills preferred
• Understands IEEE, ANSI, and other applicable design and equipment standards
• Track record of working cooperatively with diverse teams, regional, department, technical managers and project staff
• Experience with industry-standard design software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
