Substation Project Engineer

HDR is looking for a Substation Project Engineer to join their team of Power Delivery professionals. The role involves supporting project preparation, designing substation layouts, and coordinating with other departments.

Requirements

• Support preparing scopes, schedules, and budgets
• Understanding and delivering physical substation designs
• Understanding and delivering protection and control designs
• Prepare electrical calculations for studies and reports
• Prepare equipment specifications for procurement
• Coordinate design activities with other departments
• Effectively communicate and coordinate project activities with manager, clients, and others
• Works independently and may direct, mentor, train, and/or supervise others
• Conduct QA/QC on the work of other Engineers, Project Coordinators or Designers, or BIM Technicians
