Substation Project Engineer

HDR is seeking a Substation Project Engineer to join their growing Power Delivery team. The successful candidate will have foundational expertise in high voltage substation design and be ready to take on a more complex and responsible role.

Requirements

• Support preparing scopes, schedules, and budgets
• Understand physical substation design
• Prepare calculations for studies and reports
• Prepare equipment specifications for procurement and/or factory acceptance testing
• Coordinate design activities with other departments
• Effectively communicate and coordinate project activities with manager, clients, and others
• Work independently and may direct, mentor, train, and/or supervise less-experienced EIT's and/or Designers
• Perform other duties as needed
