Job Description
As a Transmission Line Engineering Manager, you will lead, guide, and advise clients, projects, and teams on transmission line projects, developing a partnership with the Project Manager. You will manage and execute the engineering and design components of transmission projects, working with a team of engineers and technical staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural considered)
- 10+ years of transmission line engineering experience in the electric utility and/or renewables industry
- Transmission line design experience using PLS-CADD, steel and wood transmission structure analysis/design, foundation design, material procurement, specifications, and construction support
- Exposure to transmission line siting/routing, environmental permitting and right of way acquisition
- Distribution line design and/or steel lattice tower modeling and design experience a plus
