Job Description
Headout is a rapidly growing travel marketplace seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own end-to-end platform responsibilities, including optimizing Kubernetes and building observability systems. The role involves improving developer velocity, implementing security guardrails, and advocating for best practices through mentorship and collaboration. This is a pivotal role within a fast-paced startup, offering opportunities for significant impact and growth.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in operating customer facing services at scale.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and related tools.
- Experience with service mesh and tracing tools like Istio, Jaeger, and NewRelic/Datadog.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting stacks like Prometheus + Grafana + Thanos, NewRelic/Datadog.
- Experience with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure (preferably AWS).
