Senior Counsel, Commercial

Headway is a mission-driven healthcare technology company that aims to build a new mental healthcare system everyone can access. As Senior Counsel, Commercial, you will be responsible for negotiating innovative and high-impact partnerships with leading health plans, building systems and processes for the Legal and Payer teams, and reviewing and negotiating the terms of Headway's health plan agreements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of post-bar admittance legal experience with a deep understanding of healthcare contracting between payers and providers
• Meaningful in-house experience in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing required (including ability to register as NY in-house counsel)
