Job Description
The Biomedical Equipment Technician I, II or III repairs and maintains medical equipment and associated information technology. Performs preventative maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of both mechanical and electronic medical equipment.
Requirements
- Completion of an associate's degree in biomedical engineering and AAMI certification with at least 0-3 years of Biomedical service experience
- Completion of an associate's degree in biomedical engineering and on-going evidence of continuing education in pursuit of AAMI certification along with at least 8 years of Biomedical service experience
- A 4-year degree in biomedical or electrical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience
