Job Description
This Occupational Therapist position at Care and Be Cared For is seeking an experienced therapist to provide occupational therapy services to Ontario Health atHome patients in a collaborative, patient-centered setting. The role involves assessment, goal setting, therapy implementation, and documentation, working with a team of healthcare professionals and support services.
Requirements
- Registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- In-depth knowledge of occupational therapy services and community resources
- Relevant occupational therapy experience in a community/health care environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of occupational therapy tools, processes, equipment, and assistive technology
- Knowledge of funding agencies and legislation related to occupational therapy
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Advanced written and oral proficiency in English
