Welcome to your next career! As an Activity Director, you will plan and implement individual and group activities in a facility, promoting physical, cognitive, social, and emotional health.
Requirements
- No convictions for abuse, neglect or mistreatment or for misappropriation of property
- Bachelor's degree in recreation therapy and eligible for registration as a therapeutic recreation specialist
- Two years experience in a social or recreational program within the past five years, or occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant
- Monthly consultation from a qualified activity coordinator if not a qualified activity coordinator
