Patient Account Representative

Patient Account Representative will be responsible for all aspects of follow up and collections, including making telephone calls, accessing payer websites, and verifying claims adjudication. The role requires 1-2 years of hospital billing/collections experience and knowledge of Medicaid - IL Specific or IL HMO. The successful candidate will have strong AR follow up experience and be able to handle 70-75 accounts per day.

Requirements

• HS/Diploma GED equivalent
• 1-2 years of Hospital Billing/Collections Experience (must have UB04/92)
• Able to handle 70-75 accounts per day
• Must have knowledge of Medicaid – IL Specific or IL HMO
• Must have strong AR follow up experience
