Emergency Medical Technician

The Emergency Medical Technician-PCST is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergent calls, providing initial assessment, treatment, and transport of ill or injured persons. This casual position is within the HSAS unit at the Wawota EMS Services facility, and is open to current members as required by collective agreement.

Requirements

• Provide initial assessment, treatment, and transport of ill or injured persons.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergent calls.
• Basic - Verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently
