Job Description
Emergency Medical Technicians provide emergent and non-emergent Basic Life Support (BLS) services to the sick and injured. They are responsible for continuing to provide BLS medical services until responsibility for patient care can be assumed by hospital authorities or a Paramedic.
Requirements
- Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)
- Registered Emergency Medical Technician/Primary Care Paramedic (EMT/PCP)
- Valid Class 4 driver's license
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work independently
