Job Description
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) responds to emergency and non-emergency events, provides assessment, treatment, and transportation of ill or injured persons, and adheres to The Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations, Saskatchewan College of Paramedics Clinical Practice Protocols, and Saskatchewan health Authority policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)
- Valid Class 4 driver's license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
- Current CPR certification
- International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
