Nurse B - Public Health Nurse

In an environment that supports continuous improvement, the Public Health Nurse will provide investigation and follow-up of reportable and non-reportable communicable diseases, including sexually transmitted disease, and provide HIV counseling and testing, family planning information and contraceptive supplies, and immunization. The nurse will also assist with liaison and referrals to other health personnel and agencies.

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
• Course credits in public health nursing
• 2 years recent experience as a public health nurse
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
