This position works as part of an interdisciplinary primary health care team to provide primary health care services to the community. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for clients in the community both independently and collaboratively with a physician.
Requirements
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
- Certification in Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or equivalent program
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Possession of, and ability to maintain current registration as RN (NP) with Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association
- Current BCLS certification
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse in primary care, public health or acute care
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in community needs assessment, community development and health promotion
- Valid Saskatchewan driver's license
