The Psychologist will provide professional psychological services to children and families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder, working within a multidisciplinary team to provide case management support and treatment services.
Requirements
- Masters in Psychology
- Registered as having Authorized Practice Endorsement with the College of Psychologists
- Registered or eligible for registration as a full practice Psychologist by the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
- A minimum of one year (post Degree) of clinical experience in a child/adolescent mental health service setting
- Experience with developmental and neuro-cognitive psychology
- Knowledge of normal child and adolescent development and psychopathology
- Knowledge of cognitive disability models with regard to mental health diagnoses from childhood to adulthood
- Knowledge of interventions empirically validated or supported by best-practices literature
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and independently to manage complex and multiple demands
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
