The Masters Psychologist is responsible for providing professional leadership in the development and delivery of clinical services to families presenting with mental health and addiction challenges. This role involves assessment, consultation, and mentorship to other clinicians, agencies, and community partners. The position focuses on supporting youth affected by the Youth Criminal Justice Act in the Youth Offender Team.
Requirements
- Recognized PhD or Master's Degree in Psychology
- Registered or eligible for registration as a psychologist by the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
- Minimum of three years recent recognized clinical experience in community mental health
- Knowledge of standard psychometric instruments and standardized child/adolescent and young adult development and psychopathology
- Experience using assessment, triage, treatment, and case management strategies
- Knowledge of diversity of cultures and values in accessing mental health services
- Solid consultation skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Demonstrated ability to design and conduct training
- Experience managing complex caseloads and working independently
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license
