Psychologist PhD Senior

Job Summary: Seeking a Psychologist PhD Senior to provide complex screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to a primarily adult community mental health and addiction population. Responsibilities include program consultation, evaluation of clinical interventions, formal supervisory relationship with other employees, and public education regarding mental health and addiction issues and resources.

Requirements

• PhD in Clinical Psychology
• Three years (post-doctorate) recognized experience in working within community mental health and addiction services
• Knowledge of a variety of mental health disorders and addiction and harm reduction strategies
• Knowledge of computerized assessment and interpretation software packages
• Demonstrated experience working with mental health and addiction community outreach and competence in delivering mental health and addiction crisis interventions
• Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of intervention strategies (individual and group) for individuals with mental health and addiction problems in a community based setting
