Job Description
HealthCorps is seeking a Teen Health Education Intern to implement an innovative wellness club, Teens Make Health Happen, in middle or high schools in the S. Ohio region. The intern will serve as a near-peer mentor to local students and gain hands-on experience in public health and education.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate college student majoring in public health, public policy, biology, nutrition, marketing, psychology, education, social work or related fields
- Good academic standing with university
- Commitment of 6-8+ hours each week to the internship for the entire fall or spring semester
- Ability to travel to assigned sites and lift up to 15 pounds
- Self-expectation and strong desire to grow personally and professionally as a leader in the community
