Job Description
The CT Technologist PRN role involves performing computerized tomography (CT) exams under the supervision of a radiologist, meticulously maintaining patient records, and ensuring a safe examination environment. Responsibilities include exam administration, patient interviewing, room preparation, and ensuring compliance with safety measures.
Requirements
- Administer computerized tomography (CT) exams under a Radiologist's request and supervision.
- Greets patient and completes preliminary interview.
- Sanitize examination rooms and prepare equipment.
- Establishes IVs for patients prior to scan.
- Explains exam procedures to the patient and alleviates anxiety.
