Job Description
This Medical Lab Technician position involves performing routine medical laboratory tests to aid in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Responsibilities include specimen collection, sample processing, laboratory testing procedures, and maintaining laboratory equipment. The role focuses on adhering to established safety protocols.
Requirements
- Collects, processes, and handles blood and/or other biological specimens in accordance with established procedures.
- Conducts clinical laboratory tests in areas like hematology, microbiology, immunology, clinical chemistry, and urinalysis.
- Prepares and prepares volumetric solutions and reagents.
