Job Description
HealthPartners is hiring a Director of Accounting responsible for overseeing fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities and providing strategy and guidance to departments throughout the organization.
Requirements
- BA/BS in accounting or business-related field
- 8 - 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
- Adept in accounting methods and techniques according to GAAP, GAS and FASB rulings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge in accounting methods and techniques according to General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) rulings
- Knowledge of automated accounting systems
- CPA/MBA
- Accounting in Healthcare environment
- Knowledge of financial systems including Oracle Fusion and business intelligence tools
