The Nutrition Aide will assist in the preparation of meals, deliver patient meals, store food and supplies, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of experience in food and customer service-related areas, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Requirements
- Assist in the preparation of meals
- Deliver patient meals following established service and safety guidelines
- Retrieve, wash and store dishes following established guidelines
- Complete assigned cleaning per schedule
- Communicate with the cook, aides, and diet clerk in each position to maintain the safety, timeliness, and quality of meals and food items
- Stock patient care areas
- Prepare and assemble items for café
- Prepare and serve café items
- Utilize cashiering system
- Assist in storing food and supplies in the department
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the work area
