As a Respiratory Therapist, you will perform independent professional respiratory care diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in an appropriate, safe and cost-effective manner. Support medical staff and other hospital staff in providing quality patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Respiratory Care program
- Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of MN
- Current BLS β American Heart Association or BLS β American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of start date
- If working inpatient, NRP certification is required within 6 months of start date
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner license with the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (specific only to employees working in Wisconsin)
- Minimum of one-year acute care experience
