Job Description
Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Surgical Tech (CST) to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) teams. The Surgical Tech (CST) position practices under the direction of a Registered Nurse in an autonomous and collegial manner, integrating, critical thinking skills, commitment, creativity and caring.
Requirements
- Must be certified through one of the following Surgical Technologist Programs: CST or NCCT at time of hire or obtain the certification within 12 months of hire or 36 months of hire, respectively.
- Surgical tech experience required (would consider highly motivated new grad)
- Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment of orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods.
- Demonstrated knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
