Job Description
Regions Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join our weekend team. This position performs CT exams using independent judgment and initiative, prepares patients for CT exams, administers contrast media, and starts intravenous catheters. The CT Tech also functions as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns.
Requirements
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program of Radiologic Technology or ARRT-approved equivalent
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program
- Completion of ARRT advanced Computed Tomography certification OR active employment with Regions Hospital as a Radiologic Technologist Specialist
- One year of experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist (preferred)
