GME Hospitalist - IM Residency Core Faculty

This position is for a physician to join our Internal Medicine Residency Program as a Core Faculty member. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to medical education, clinical excellence, and scholarly activities.

Requirements

• Active Alabama medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• MD or DO degree (ECFMG certification required if international graduate)
• Completion of ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency
• Board certification in Internal Medicine (ABMS) required
• Must demonstrate commitment to education, professionalism, and patient safety
• Must participate in committees (Clinical Competency, Program Evaluation, etc.) and complete faculty development annually
• Strong teaching, mentoring, and documentation skills
