Platform Engineer

Healx is hiring a Platform Engineer to build cloud infrastructure and develop production pipelines that enable AI drug discovery process. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between infrastructure and scientific software, designing, building and supporting cloud infrastructure and collaborating with bioinformaticians, machine learning engineers and data scientists to implement data pipelines.

Requirements

• Design, build, maintain and improve cloud infrastructure in AWS (and some GCP) to enable AI drug discovery workflows
• Follow infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD principles to build maintainable infrastructure using Terraform and CircleCI
• Take advantage of latest AWS tools and apply best practices across our cloud estate to ensure security, availability and observability
• Work closely with technical users across the company to understand and support their computational needs
• In collaboration with data scientists write code to build, test and automate production pipelines in tools such as Nextflow, Airflow, MLflow and KNIME
• Embrace the use of AI coding tools and agents to accelerate delivery while retaining responsibility for system design, implementation and testing of code
