Job Description
KCCI Television, the CBS affiliate in Des Moines, Iowa, is seeking a strategic and experienced IT Manager to lead our station’s technology infrastructure and operations. This leadership role is focused on high-level infrastructure management, strategic planning, and team development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and military/industry experience.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, including virtualization, networking, and server administration.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a focus on mentoring and developing technical staff.
- Strong understanding of network architecture (TCP/IP, subnets, VLANs, switching).
- Experience with enterprise directory services and security protocols.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
