Job Description
Hearst Television, the ABC affiliate in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to maintain the station's equipment and systems. This role provides technical and IT support for all station efforts, including news-gathering equipment, IT systems, production equipment, and transmission sites. The position reports to the Assistant Chief Engineer.
Requirements
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of desktop and server operating systems
- Networking support of various LAN/WAN devices and systems
- In-depth knowledge of video production/television systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Positive attitude and driven by successful problem solving
- Flexible work schedule
- Ability to follow instructions
- Capable of physical labor including lifting, carrying, and moving
- Valid driver’s license
