KMBC-TV is seeking a Consumer & Investigative Reporter to join our newsroom and collaborate closely with our award-winning investigative team.
Requirements
- Develop and report original consumer-focused enterprise and investigative stories
- Generate story ideas that identify unfair practices and systemic failures
- Report across platforms: on-air, digital, mobile, and social
- Conduct informed interviews and build strong sources
- Gather and edit compelling video and sound
- Manage multiple enterprise projects while meeting daily deadlines
- General assignment reporting and occasional backup anchoring
