Job Description
WVTM-TV is seeking an Investigative Reporter to create engaging stories for newscasts. The role requires strong interviewing skills, a willingness to go out and gather information, and the ability to build compelling live reports. The reporter will be a self-starter, resourceful, and capable of working under pressure to break large stories.
Requirements
- Professional or college reporting experience
- Experience with enterprise reporting and ability to uncover details
- Able to operate mobile transmission devices and use latest technology
- Willing to work varied shifts, including overnights and weekends
- Maintain journalistic integrity and ethical standards
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record
- Work with diverse shifts
- Ability to handle time-sensitive newscast production pressures
