Part-Time News Photojournalist/Editor

WGAL-TV is seeking a Part-Time Photojournalist/Editor who is passionate about impactful, multi-platform storytelling through compelling visual media. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, creative, and tech-savvy, with a commitment to high journalistic standards and visual excellence.

Requirements

• Experience with non-linear editing systems (Adobe Premiere preferred)
• Understanding of multi-platform storytelling, including broadcast and social/digital video formats
• Previous newsroom experience preferred; military experience strongly considered
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds of equipment
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license with a strong driving record; ability to operate large vehicles
• Proficiency with mobile journalism tools and emerging video technologies
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick editorial decisions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A proactive, self-starter mindset with a “go-getter” attitude
