Hearst Television, the ABC affiliate in Rogers, AR, is seeking a local news producer to create memorable and impactful newscasts. The role involves selecting, writing, and reporting on news stories, working closely with a team to ensure accuracy and visual appeal. Responsibilities include live timing, live broadcasting, and story production.

Requirements

• Select, research, and write content for live newscasts.
• Work with and guide reporters in story production.
• Coordinate creative vision with team of professionals.
• Boothing assigned newscasts, breaking news, and weather events.
• Live timing newscasts.
• Have and exhibit the highest journalistic integrity.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and overnights.
• Military experience is considered
