Producer

Hearst Television (HTV) is seeking a local news producer to create engaging and informative newscasts. This role involves researching, writing, and coordinating content, as well as representing creative vision and delivering news accurately. The producer will work closely with a team of reporters and editors and will report to the News Director.

Requirements

• Select, research, and write content for live newscasts.
• Work with and guide reporters in story production.
• Coordinate creative vision with team of anchors, reporters, meteorologists, photographers, editors, and production staff.
• Boothing assigned newscasts, breaking news and weather events.
• Live timing newscasts.
• Have writing and copy-editing skills.
