Job Description
This EMS position requires an individual to operate under established protocols and job descriptions for both ER and Intrafacility transfers, focusing on patient care and safety. Responsibilities include starting IVs, drawing blood, splinting, suture removal, EKG's, CPR, and assisting with patient transport. EMS personnel must demonstrate competency in performing tasks within the hospital and independently in-case of emergency.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to communicate verbally and pass a drug screen
- Valid CPR card
- Current EMT or AEMT certification
- Current ACSL certification
- Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology
- ICS certifications (FEMA, 100, 200, 700, 800, Jurisprudence)
