Job Description
We are launching a massive Platform Modernization initiative to power the next generation of our life-saving medical products. As a Platform Engineer, specializing in Compute Migration, you will help with the strategic effort to migrate all of our existing AWS Lambda and ECS-based workloads to our next-generation Kubernetes platform.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Platform, Infrastructure, or DevOps Engineering roles, with significant time spent on large-scale compute migrations.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes (design, deployment, operations, networking, security, and scaling).
- Hands-on experience with AWS compute services, particularly AWS Lambda and ECS/Fargate, and a clear understanding of their operational models and scaling behaviors.
- Proven experience migrating production workloads from traditional cloud compute (VMs, Lambdas, ECS) to Kubernetes.
- Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform.
- Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker) and modern CI/CD practices.
