Job Description
Hebbia is looking for an Assistant Controller to own accounting and financial operations, with a focus on hypergrowth trajectory. The role will oversee core accounting activities, lead the monthly and annual close processes, and drive audit readiness. The ideal candidate has 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in high-growth startups/tech companies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification required
- 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in high-growth startups/tech companies
- Deep accounting expertise with thorough knowledge of current GAAP standards
- Demonstrated experience scaling financial operations in a hypergrowth environment
- Proficiency in accounting systems (preferably with modern AI ERPs) and other financial systems
